The Dissemination of Einstein’s Theory of Time Through Print, 1905-1979

Young, Lonny C.

Abstract Details

2007, Master of Arts, University of Akron, History.
This thesis examines how college physics textbooks, popular books, magazines, and newspapers contributed to the dissemination of Albert Einstein’s conception of time as found in his relativity theories. This thesis argues that the various print sources did not Einstein's theory of time as widely as their potential allowed.
