Abstract
Generation Why is a dual-timeline post-apocalyptic novel that follows a group of twenty-somethings as they search for their individual life-paths in the year leading up to society's collapse, and five years after The Fall, when they discover that the US government is re-establishing itself. The novel seeks to examine the individual's role in their community, and the purpose of government itself.
