Managers in hotel industry face a complex work environment because of its service characteristics. Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in there day to day process may assist them in complex work environment and for better job outcomes. The aim of this study is to identify how information and communication technology affects the day to day process of hotel managers and managers perspective towards ICT and the area of exploration is Near Field Communication (NFC). This study will help hotel and other hospitality related industries to gain knowledge about the intention of employees towards adopted technologies. As the study is exploring the hotel employee’s perspective towards ICT all types employees and positions were considered, surveys were selected as the most appropriate data gathering method. The sample covers a range of hotels in India. The findings revealed a positive effect on hotel employee’s intention to use NFC in their daily work and discussion and managerial implications are proposed.
