Measurement of the Nuclear Dependence of F_2 and R=Sigma_L/Sigma_T in The Nucleon Resonance Region

Experiment E04-001 was carried out in Hall C at Jefferson Lab to measure the L/T separated structure functions from nuclear targets. The experiment ran in the nucleon resonance region (1 < W^2 < 4.5 GeV^2) spanning the squared four-momentum transfer range 0.5 < Q^2 < 2.5 (GeV/c)^2. An important goal of this experiment was to provide high precision cross section results for nuclear targets in the resonance region. The Rosenbluth separation technique was used to extract the separated structure functions F_L, F_1, F_2 and the ratio R= sigma_L/sigma_T. The measurements of this experiment were used to study the nuclear dependence on the separated structure functions and R.
