Abstract Details

, BA, Kent State University, College of Business and Entrepreneurship, Ambassador Crawford / Department of Management and Information Systems.
The purpose of this thesis is to find out the impact of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and the straw movement on specific Ohio restaurants. My thesis will focus on three sections; corporate social responsibility, plastic straws, and their impact on four Ohio restaurants. The first section is about corporate social responsibility. The thesis begins with the history and benefits of this concept. Then the next section is about the origins and controversy surrounding the plastic straw movement. The last section is the research and analysis of four restaurants’ answers to my survey.
