Abstract
On Monday September 10th, 2007 I began full time employment with ARCADIS. ARCADIS is an industry leader in providing infrastructure, environmental, consulting, and engineering services. My primary role at ARCADIS is to assist with Global Market Advisory Services, particularly, Global Product Stewardship. Global Product stewardship addresses environmental, human health, and sustainability issues for chemical products throughout the supply chain. Since beginning at ARCADIS I have spent the majority of my time on two global product stewardship projects. The first is preparing approximately 100 chemicals for REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemical substances) and the second offering support to a project classifying nearly 1,000 chemicals using GHS (Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals).
