This report summarizes my activities as a full-time employee for Environmental Enterprises, Incorporated (EEI) in Cincinnati, Ohio. I specifically work for our Environmental Assessment Group (EAG) and conduct industrial hygiene sampling and air monitoring to evaluate worker exposure on the job site. The primary services of EAG include industrial hygiene services, indoor air quality, asbestos and lead services, and Occupational Safety Health Administration (OSHA) compliance. My main duties as EAG personnel have been working as an Asbestos Hazard Evaluation Specialist. I provided asbestos and lead consulting services for school districts, local industries and universities. These services include six-month and three-year Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) inspections, collection of asbestos and lead air samples, and oversight of asbestos and lead removal projects. We also provide recommendations for corrective actions to help our clients determine the most efficient and cost effective solutions, which requires knowledge of both the regulatory and technical requirements.
