Djebar has created a relationship between movement and writing in such works as L'amour, la fantasia, Ces voix qui m'assiegent...en marge de ma francophonie, Loin de Medine and Vaste est la prison. She showed that the characters in these novels after a period of silence due to a shock they have endured, have moved to a new place where they have found their voice giving it expression in different forms of writing. She has created resemblance between the movements of her hand caused by voices of the memory, at writing with the whirling dance of Sufi. The voices leads her to rewriting of memory in French language. This results in rewriting of History according to the theory of minoritarian literature of Deleuze and Guattari, and the foundation of a new socio-political system in which Algerian women find their rights already forfeited such as paternal inheritance and the right to write.
