This thesis project is the amalgamation of modern drama and modern art. This unique combination creates the capacity for growth and exploration. Awakening The Artisitc Soul: A Personal Journey Inspired By Modern Drama And Fine Art is a personal awakening that is described in words and book sculptures. Unconventional writers such as Samuel Beckett, Sara Kane, Eugene Ionesco, Eugene O’Neill, and Marsha Norman are featured because of the artistic reaction their plays inspire. The mysterious Book sculptures from Edinburgh, Scotland are have sparked questions to last a lifetime. The journey inspires deep contemplation and steps in new directions.
