This thesis is a collection of creative nonfiction that explores the author’s memories as it moves through a range of topics, from factory work to religion to relationships. The critical introduction first offers an examination of the problems inherent in writing about memory as well as problems of writing from one’s memory. The following works further contribute to the discussion through topical and personal approaches to a range of subjects.
