Abstract
Creation Myths
is based on the concept of continuous creation and destruction. The melodies and motives rise and fall in a continuous process of renewal – as one section is destroyed or covered, another has already begun to take its place. Moving from a delicate ‘music box’ texture of vibraphone, marimba, glockenspiel and celesta to vicious impacts of up to four simultaneous brake drums,
Creation Myths
evokes a wide range of emotions.
