The purpose of this thesis is to determine the feasibility of the 35mm photography method for the location of drainage tile and to compare color, color infrared, panchromatic, and infrared photography to determine the optimum film type and season. Research indicates that color infrared photography has superior contrast with which to locate tile, and that color and panchromatic photography are acceptable. The spring season is the optimum time of year in which to make photography.
