Some eusocial insects like wasps coordinate with each other to build their nest cooperatively as a swarm. The individual behavior exhibits highly local properties while the global structure can be achieved by the agents without any global representation or blueprint. In this thesis, we model such a building behavior of eusocial insects in a three dimensional lattice space. The decision making mechanism of depositing bricks is represented by the microrules formed by the local stimulating configurations around the agents. Simple and complex structures are simulated and the problem of microrules overlapping for complex structures is also analyzed and solved by dividing the building process into stages. For this temporally discrete, spatially discontinuous process a discrete event system is employed to model the cooperative construction. For some motion dynamics, the movement of the bricks is shown to be uniformly bounded.
