Abstract
Retrofit of reinforced concrete structures has been an area of intense study due to potential advantages over rebuilding. There exists a significant number for investigations into the various methods to retrofit beams, columns, and joints. In order to best understand current state of research, identify areas of agreement and disagreement, and highlight key components of retrofit design, studies were aggregated, synthesized, and conclusions drawn to help further the understanding of researchers and practicing engineers. Three conference papers have been submitted covering the methods utilized for beam, column, and joint retrofit. A collaborative journal article investigating the impact of interface preparation on column concrete jacketing with a new model has additionally been drafted. Finally, a website that serves a repository and knowledge base for retrofit has been constructed.
