My dissertation entitled "The "creative event" and the " Being of writing" through the autobiographical texts in Julio Cortazar and Alejandra Pizarnik" ("El "acontecimiento creador" y el "Ser de la escritura" a traves del discurso autobiografico en Julio Cortazar y Alejandra Pizarnik") addresses Julio Cortazar and Alejandra Pizarnik's autobiographical texts and their creative writing process. I established four main topics of study: first, the nature of the autobiographical text, second; the description of the creative experience based on the autobiographical corpus; third, the "Being of writing" as the origin of the creative phenomenon; and finally, the literary genre as a condition predetermined before the writing process. In other words, I analyze the experience of the writer during the creation event trying to identify the main involved aspects that characterize and define that experience and, therefore, the literary work. Also, I study the "Being of writing" as a metaphysical origin of the creative process and how it determines the nature of the writing phenomenon as well as the literary genre in which the writer develops his/her mastery. Thus, I propose new categories of analysis for both, the autobiographical texts in general, and also, for describing and studying the creative experience and the relation between that experience and the literary genre, poetry and narrative specifically, from a phenomenological point of view.
