Abstract
Insomnious is a composed work for wind ensemble. The piece represents the composer dealing and processing the diagnosis of severe sleep apnea. With this condition, it is very possible that the person could stop breathing and die in their sleep without medical equipment. This piece explores the healing process knowing that death can always be close.
