La Ciudad de las Calles de Ramon y Cajal

de Blas, Bonné A

Abstract Details

2019, MFA, Kent State University, College of Arts and Sciences / Department of English.
This creative thesis manuscript is a full-length poetry collection of original work by the author. The individual poetry pieces work to form a single, long poem inspired by the life and works of Dr. Santiago Ramon y Cajal, the Spanish neuroscientist and 1906 Nobel Prize recipient (Medicine.) The intersection of Cajal’s life and work with that of the author’s Spanish family is central to the collection.
