This paper is about Federico Garcia Lorca and his traveling theatre troupe La Barraca. It examines his theatrical practices, how many people he reached, and the overall message that he was trying to spread in order to determine if he was successful. The author has taken into account his directing practices, his choice of works, how many towns he visited, the perception of the church and government, and the surprising influence that he may not have known he had. It also talks about the most recent information regarding his death as of May 2015.
