Standardization is the recent push within the educational reform efforts in the United States. In response Art Education has developed a set of national standards as a means to be validated within the school systems. However, there is still much debate as to how to measure if students are meeting the standard because art is such a subjective material. One of the many different strategies for assessing student growth and success within the arts is through the evaluation of the process, not just the final product. Body of Process focuses on a further exploration of the process of creating.
