Super Yang-Mills theories on the lattice

Bibireata, Daniel

Abstract Details

2005, Doctor of Philosophy, Ohio State University, Physics.
We developed a toolkit for simulating gauge theories on the lattice. The toolkit has support for simulations in any dimension, with SU(Nc ≥ 2) gauge groups, with particles in fundamental or adjoint representation, and with Wilson or domain wall fermions. The main objective of the toolkit is to provide a framework for simulating super Yang-Mills theories on the lattice. As a check, we use the toolkit to match the meson spectrum of QCD in two dimensions, which can be computed exactly in the large Nc limit. Then, we perform a set of exploratory studies of 𝓝 = 1 SYM in four dimensions and its dimensionally reduced models.
