Development and evaluation of rational runoff coefficients for small agricultural watersheds

Horn, David L

Abstract Details

1961, Master of Science, Ohio State University, Food, Agricultural, and Biological Engineering.
Runoff coefficients for the rational runoff formula far seven combinations of cover and cultural practice were derived from single-crop watersheds at Coshocton, Ohio. The rational formula, using the derived coefficients, was evaluated by peak runoff rate frequency curves constructed for fourteen gaged watersheds in Ohio, Wisconsin, Nebraska, and Texas.
