Hazing is a tradition that has been affecting college and university campuses. This thesis will examine the history of hazing and where it originated. It will also show the state of Ohio's involvement in creating legislation that made hazing a felony. Finally, a research study will be discussed that explains the tradition of hazing and why it is still being practiced.
